SeeUnity is pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 4.0 R3. R3 introduces many new features that extend the integration options available with the SeeUnity product suite.

General

• Remote Server Architecture now available
• Supports deploying to 64-bit SharePoint farms when the ECM Repository API is not 64-bit compatible
• Provide alternative connection methods for remote or distributed environments.
• Web Services
• Easier deployment of simple web part environments
• 64-bit Install Packages
• The WebDAV Server has now been certified to work on Vista and Windows 7.

eDOCS Connector

• Linking DRF’s now support version linking
• Support for DM6 inherited security

FAST Search Technology

• General meta-sets allow simplified field mapping
• Ingestion now supports enumeration of ACL users from ECM repository groups

Protocol Handler

• The protocol handler can now be setup to store shared configuration information in the SeeUnity database instead of the local registry.
• The UPH security trimmer can now be configured to limit the number of security checks done within a single query.
• Protocol handler logging has been enhanced
• The protocol handler security trimmer for eDOCS now respects DENY settings.

SeeUnity SDK

• A new suConnectWeb object has been added to run all APIs over web services.
