SeeUnity announces the release of its new Federated Search Connector for Microsoft Enterprise Search. This new component represents a powerful addition to our existing Enterprise Search Solutions (ESS). The Federated Search Connector empowers Microsoft’s enterprise search to pass search queries to one or many external ECM repositories through our Integration Framework and return a single, secured result set.
The Federated Search Connector is based on the Open Search standard, which can be leveraged by various Microsoft solutions – including Microsoft Search Server 2008 and Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise Edition. The Open Search standard is fully interoperable with SeeUnity’s APIs and Integration Framework.
The SeeUnity Federated Search Connector is available for all native ECM systems currently supported by SeeUnity, including Open Text eDOCS, Open Text Livelink, Documetum, eROOM, Tower Software, Vignette, and others.
