SeeUnity is pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 4.0 R2. This important release provides access to multiple content sources from a common SharePoint interface. R2 introduces many new features that extend the integration options available.

  • Date select calendar from profile forms
  • Ability to relate documents
  • Enhanced Check-in/out functionality

• New configuration options for the eDOCS Publishing Client
• Protocol handler crawls can now be scheduled
• The WebDAV server now supports eDOCS auto-login
• Views can be accessed with the Database Connector
• A new import web part is available for creating Documentum and Livelink content
• A new Download Service installation ships with R2 allowing you to view content outside a SharePoint workspace
• Improved license control and distribution
• Users can select the content source target repository for archiving
• Additional download controls
• A new SharePoint feature called Archive once, allows documents to be archived based on attribute values
• FAST Connector Manager allows for seamless crawling of content sources to the Microsoft FAST index
• The Migration Manager now supports creating required migration connectors and data connectors
